The Board issued a letter to Premier Eby about the replacement of MissionSecondary. On March 10th, 2023 MLA Alexis and MLA D'Eithannounced funding to replace Mission Secondary.
September 2023

The consultants will present a Project Design Review (PDR) report to the Board which will then be submitted to the Ministry for review and approval.
October 2023
École Mission Senior Secondary Replacement has finished this stage
The report was drafted, revised, and submitted in consultation with the project team, School District staff, and the Ministry of Education. The PDR outlines the need for a replacement school, along with a funding request. In early October, a final version was submitted for official review by various departments within the provincial government. We anticipate a response in the upcoming months as the government prepares to update its budget in the Spring 2024.
