Vivian SearwarDistrict Principal of Indigenous Education @ School District 75 (Mission)
Vivian is of Cree/Métis ancestry and of settler heritage from Meskanaw, Saskatchewan. She is a member of Muskoday First Nation. Vivian has been an educator since 1991 and an advocate for Indigenous learners and families and Indigenous curriculum and education. She started her SD75 teaching career in 1998 as a French Immersion teacher, advanced to the Vice-Principal of Hatzic Elementary, and since 2018, has worked at the Siwal Si’wes Indigenous Department.

Shelley is a fourth term trustee since 2011. She has had 3 children attend and graduate from Mission Public Schools, and grandchildren attending. Shelley is a certified Hairstylist and certified Floral Designer. Shelley is a passionate advocate for Public Education. She served in PAC executive roles at Dewdney Elementary and Hatzic Secondary since 1992. She also served as DPAC Chair and Secretary.

Randy CairnsSchool Trustee @ School District 75 (Mission)
Randy and his wife have resided in Mission since 1975.He has been a Trustee since around 2006. All three of their children attended Mission Public Schools, two graduated from the French Immersion program. Randy coached girls soccer for many years. His career includes 25 years with the railroad, BC Hydro, and 10 years with BC Tel, during which he gained a lot of experience in union activism. Randy also volunteered on the Fraser Valley Crisis Line for 6 years and served on the Board of Directors for Mission Community Services for 2 years.
